In the New Testament, we read about a man named Jairus whose daughter was deathly ill. He went to the Savior to ask that he heal his very sick daughter. On the way to their home, the daughter of Jairus passed away.  "But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole." (see Luke 8) The Savior blessed his daughter and returned her spirit into her mortal body. "And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway"
